Menurut Edward Yourdon (1989:326) “The Behavioral Model describes the required behavior of the insides of the system necessery to interact succesfully with the environment.” Dengan kata lain bahwa behavioral model menggambarkan tingkah laku yang dibutuhkan di dalam suatu sistem untuk saling berinteraksi dengan baik dengan lingkungannya.
